DID YOU KNOW...

 

Every glass garden flower is carefully created using recycled glass, some vintage and some newer, found at resale shops, thrift stores, estates sales, and garage sales. It's amazing what you can find and use to create magnificent pieces of recycled glass flower garden art! Each flower has its own unique beauty.All pieces are bonded together using a clear UV6800 marine grade industrial adhesive which is a UV protected, weatherproof, and safe for temps 40 below to 150 above (tested excellent in the harsh Chicago winter of 2013 and 2014, the worst on record for this area). The tensile strength is also superior.

 

Glass Garden Flowers may have very minor imperfections (which I will note if there are any) since they are created from recycled glass materials having its own secretive story, some from the past. This will not interfere with the beauty and new life it will bring to your garden. By the way, all glass garden flowers are drought and deer resistant.

 

 

DISPLAYING YOUR GARDEN FLOWER

 

You have 2 options. You can display your plate on a copper post, available for purchase, and display it in your garden, or, you can display your flower indoors on an adjustable plate stand, also available for purchase. Please see listings for these in the ACCESSORIES section.

 

Each flower has a white pvc cap or hockey puck attachment bonded to its backside dependent on its weight. On the top of the pvc cap, a 9/16 holed is drilled, and on the bottom, a 11/16 hole is drilled. This allows you to display your flower by sliding a hollow piece of 1/2" conduit or copper through the bottom hole and securing the plate to the PVC cap attachment with a rubber stopper (included) that you twist into the top hole. If your plate has a puck on the backside, simply slide your post inside of the pre-drilled hole.

 

 

CARING FOR YOUR GLASS GARDEN FLOWER

 

Hand washing your flower is recommended. I leave my flowers out year round, changing them with the season, even in the winter. I have used CLR on a cotton ball to wipe off water marks on my NON-PAINTED flowers.

 

 

DELIVERY OF YOUR FLOWER

 

USPS priority mail is my preferred method for shipping so that your plate is insured for its full value should any unforeseen damage occur during shipment. Each flower is carefully and securely packaged with bubble wrap and newspaper. I process all orders immediately so you can expect delivery in 2-3 business days after your order is placed. If placing an international order, please convo me with the exact address and I will respond with the proposed shipping cost.
